In February, 1988, thirteen prominent Fresno Ophthalmologists and Saint Agnes Medical Center realized a unique vision with the opening of the California Eye Institute. This four story, 60,000 square foot facility was one of the first of its kind in the nation...a medically advanced joint venture between a highly regarded hospital and a group of prestigious ophthalmologists. Today, the CEI is home to the Valley's largest team of eye MD's and specialists from every field of Ophthalmology.
